After such a successful run yesterday I was always going to be approaching Day 11 of The MAD Challenge with optimism.

For a change I showed little resistance to the alarm clock this morning and was up and ready in good time. Like most mornings now my legs ache a little but this has to be a good thing. To me the aching means they are adjusting to the demands put on them and that has to be a good thing.

What a difference 24 hours makes. I’ve now just completed Day 4 of The MAD Challenge and the results are showing improvement from the previous 2 days.

You may remember that yesterday when I awoke I really didn’t feel like going out for the run. I felt jaded and my legs ached like crazy. These daily mile workouts are going to push my levels of commitment.
