I’ll Do It For My Just Giving Charity – #themadchallenge

Whilst I hope to gain a fair level of fitness and lose some weight doing The Mad Challenge I have another motive. Yes, I’ll do it for a Just Giving Charity too. Hopefully I can raise more than my target over the month of the challenge, with your help.

I'll do it for charity the mad challenge #themadchallenge

This is why I’ll do it for my Just Giving charity

Here are some details of my chosen charity that I’d like you to sponsor me for.

The Mad Challenge is raising funds for Cancer Research UK.

Cancer Research UK is the largest independent cancer research charity in the world.

Created in February 2002 by the merger of Imperial Cancer Research Fund and The Cancer Research Campaign.

They specialise in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

They are almost entirely funded by public and corporate donations.

You might recognise their name as they are associated with charity fundraising events such as the Race for Life and Stand Up To Cancer.

The slogan of Cancer Research UK is “We will beat cancer soon”

Please visit my donation page to sponsor me in aid of Cancer Research UK.

If you decide to take part in The Mad Challenge then please think about doing it for charity too.

Your sponsor money will go via a JustGiving page. Just Giving are professionals in collecting charitable funds and passing them directly onto Cancer Research UK. As a result you will not donate money to me but your kind donation goes to my charity choice. Whilst Cancer Research UK are one of the largest British charities they are delighted to accept the global giving of donations. If you are a UK taxpayer then please select gift aid with your donation. This will not cost you anymore but will boost my charity collection funds by 25% of the amount you have given. Also, please don’t forget to declare your donation on your tax return.

Thanks for reading. Please support me with comments or sponsoring me for Cancer Research.
