Day 30 of The MAD Challenge and it is nearly over. I am back home now covering a mile a day on familiar territory.
Over the last 2 weeks I haven’t been able to run due to a hip injury and problems with water retention in my right leg. Whilst neither has fully recovered, I’m hoping that the hip is now close to being able to tolerate a run.
With one day left on The MAD Challenge I’d at least like to finish with a run.
For today it was a walk under cloudy skies although it was dry and fresh. Unlike predictions of rain for later today.
I think my times have now levelled off, certainly in terms of walking. I am however still quite baffled to the variations in calories used for each mile.

So far The MAD Challenge has helped to raise £310 for Cancer Research UK. Thank you.
